At today’s Government meeting (March 18, 2026), a decision was made regarding the appointment of the Minister of Energy.

Cabinet Secretariat Chief S. Byambatsogt stated, “One of the two ministers who submitted resignation requests is Minister of Energy B. Choijilsuren. Therefore, it has become necessary to make a new appointment. Based on the proposal of the HUN Party, the Prime Minister has decided to appoint Member of Parliament B. Naidalaa as Minister of Energy. The decision has not yet been formalized, but it will be finalized today. The matter is expected to be discussed by Parliament tomorrow (March 19, 2026).”
