LIST OF COMPANIES THAT EXPRESSED INTEREST IN THE PROJECT TO CONSTRUCT GENERATION SOURCES AT FIVE LOCATIONS

The Ministry of Energy of Mongolia plans to implement, through private sector investment and under an Independent Power Producers (IPP) model, projects for solar power plants with a total capacity of 220 MW and battery energy storage systems with a capacity of 135 MW / 440 MWh at five locations to be connected to and operated in the Central Regional Integrated Power Grid. In order to identify potential investors and project implementers capable of implementing these projects, the announcement on receiving expressions of interest was publicly disseminated, and it was announced that applications were to be submitted by 20 May 2026.
Within the announced period, a total of 114 entities submitted expressions of interest, including 54 domestic companies, 29 foreign companies, and 31 consortiums.
The entities that submitted expressions of interest are listed below in the order in which their applications were submitted.
